# Tokenomics

**Philosophy of Fair Launch**: IBNSCTrade was developed independently without external funding or token allocation to investors. The emphasis is on rewarding those who actively contribute to the protocol’s growth and development.

**Governance Role**: The IBN token is primarily a governance token for the IBNSCTrade DAO. It’s important to note that IBN tokens are not guaranteed to hold any intrinsic value.

$IBN is IBNSCTrade’s utility token and governance token, using the BRC-20 standard with a maximum supply of 100,000,000,000.
